An impressive structure in the heart of the town of Dunières over 5,000 m² with a fleet of numerous machines. A team of 35 operators which makes VIAL Frères an energetic and responsive company according to your needs. A stock of 300 m² which gives us the possibility of having the standard and special screws and bolts you need.
Success story in Haute-Loire :
Since 1920, the VIAL company has mastered the pendulum forging technique and is constantly improving the heating, the precision of the tools and the quality of the products. Initially a manufacturer of rivets, the company turned to the production of mild steel bolts for frameworks and pylons. Then, the company turned to the production of all special screws, head shape, dimensions close to or far from standards, steels on request or specific specifications.
A specific internal organization that allows the delivery of small quantities (approximately 1 to 50 pieces) or medium series (50 to 2,000 pieces) of “quasi-standard” screws treated or galvanized within short lead times. The production of tools in-house ensures VIAL Frères total control of tolerances and production times for sample or pre-production parts.
VIAL Frères has 2,000 hot forging tools for bolts and special screws, allowing it to produce more than 3,500 combinations, which represents more than 700 assemblies per year.
From its beginnings to today, a quick look at the company :
In 1920, the first rivets left the workshops of VIAL Frères in Dunières. This brand new factory built in this city will provide work for the inhabitants and change the landscape of the town. A revolution at the time with a fleet of machines and French know-how, which allowed the production of custom-made forging products for its customers. Among the different ranges offered, a flagship product has stood out, it is called “the double pigtail”. It was sold to EDF and is still produced by VIAL Frères for this customer. The company quickly expanded into national and international markets.
Consequently, it opens the field of possibilities for the conquest of new customers. An optimized and professional organization allows the company to serve the most well-known industries, in different sectors of activity:

In 2022, the company has 40 employees. The production of screws and bolts continues to grow. The customers stayed and reiterated their orders.
